To write the prompt, I learned the importance of a description that is both precise, visual, and technical. I also discovered an interesting, albeit problematic, aspect: artificial intelligence does not distinguish the aesthetic nuances between different Asian populations. This limitation became my starting point for developing this photo series.

Generating a photograph through AI was a challenge: while I found the ‘bugs’ intriguing (illegible text, a boy swallowing a candle, strange facial expressions), my goal was to achieve a more realistic narrative with abnormal details, to explore how far the human eye can be deceived. My aim was not to highlight the oddities of AI-generated images but rather to underscore their potential danger. For this reason, these experiments were not included in the final edition.

❝ Dreamcore❞ explores the blurred boundary between digital reality and personal memories through a series of intimate, AI-generated photographs.

Each photograph appears to emerge from a past that feels both familiar and elusive, inviting viewers to question the authenticity of these memories.

The project has a dual objective: first, to deceive the viewer into believing these images are genuine fragments of memory, and second, to provoke reflection on the very nature of reality and memory in the digital age.
